As the farm is situated between a river and a mountain, it is ideal for
hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching and fishing. Bass and trout can be
caught in the river and bass and carp in the dam. The dam is also ideal
for windsurfing and canoeing. As the river is the origin of the Brede
River, it is not suitable for canoeing since it is shallow and rocky
in summer but has been used for river rafting in winter. In all cases
own equipment must be supplied.
Rock paintings can be seen in the
mountain and a little hiking trail has been set up for guests to do so.
The farm is a working fruit and wine farm. (Wineries and restaurant nearby).
Also used as base for nearby activities which include 4x4 trails, an
excellent golf course, mountainbike trails, snow during winter and sky jumping. |
